We are searching for a World of Railways Digital Content Creator to lead the creation, delivery and marketing of market-specific content across multiple digital platforms. The successful applicant will be working across market-leading digital brands including the World of Railways website, email newsletters, social media and videos, plus RMweb.co.uk.
We’re looking for a railway modelling enthusiast who can utilise their skills across the latest technologies to create class-leading content, and market it across the many platforms we publish on. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of the latest digital publishing platforms and techniques, including writing for the web and the latest SEO practices, as well as creating snappy social media content and, preferably, to have experience both presenting and editing videos. A big part of what we do involves attending exhibitions, so occasional weekend work would be expected.
We are a digital-first publisher, so you should not only be organised and skilled at the delivery of multimedia content but also have the ability to analyse data to determine what content is needed on what platform.
If you are a strong team player and eager to take on new challenges but feel you may lack some of the skills, please still apply as Warners is committed to upskilling its staff and so applicants who lack some of the skills will still be considered.
The area the successful candidate will be working in is one of the most exciting areas in the Warners’ portfolio and this position offers the right applicant the opportunity to really drive our multimedia offering to this engaged audience.
In return we offer an attractive salary, a company pension and life assurance scheme, ongoing training and development, and a real career path.
If you have any questions, please contact Steve Cole (publisher): [email protected]
