Hornby expands TT:120 range with new 2025 announcements

There's a wave of new models making their way to the UK this year, with some highlights listed below. With more manufacturers launching TT:120 products, it has never been a better time to take on the new gauge.

To help those starting out in TT:120, the new Branchline Freight Train Set (pictured above) will be a welcomed addition to the range and is available to order now and expected to be in shops in November, priced at £99.99.

For diesel enthusiasts, three liveries for the Class 66 will be offered; Lafarge Charnwood 66022, Freightliner Derek W Johnson MBE 66619 and GBRf Class 66 Sunderland 66725. Priced at £159.99 each, the models will be in shops around June time.

Another new diesel is the BR Class 08 0-6-0 08817, joining the range in July and priced at £149.99.

A trio of Terriers are also to be launched in TT120. SR Terrier W14 Bembridge, LB&SCR Terrier Brighton and BR Terrier 32655 will arrive in shops in November and introduces new tooling, priced at £159.99 each.

Following hot on the heels of the popular Duchess of Atholl, Hornby has introduced the LMS Princess Coronation Duchess of Sutherland 6233 to the range, which is expected to reach customers in July, priced at £179.99.

Two Class 43 HST train packs will arrive in August, GNER (43120 + 43115) and Virgin (43097 + 43093) and will be priced at £239.99 per pack. The coaches for both trains will also be made available in the following guises, all coaches will be priced at 41.99 each and due to arrive a month later in September.

The rolling stock additions continue with the arrival of three Pullman coaches; Third Class Brake Car No54 Third Class, 1st Class Kitchen Cynthia and 1st Class Kitchen Rosamund. Priced at £59.99, these coaches are expected imminently and expect a review in BRM very soon.

Some new 4-wheel coaches are also joining the TT:120 range at the end of the year in Southern, LB&SCR and BR liveries in 1st Class, 3rd Class, 3rd Class Brake and 3rd Class Brake Baggage guises, with prices at £34.99 each.
